TRENTON — Motorists who are facing towing costs after their vehicles were stranded by the blizzard may apply for reimbursement from the Department of Transportation.
The department issued a statement which said that the state would accept claims for "reasonable" costs for vehicles stranded on state highways due to "circumstances beyond their control."
The transportation department statement said it will provide more information on the reimbursement program in the coming days.
