New Jersey's private-sector job losses since 1999 have more than one reason.In the blame game that is New Jersey politics, state Sen. Steve Oroho says Democrat tax hikes are the reason for a record number of private-sector job losses during the past decade.
A PolitiFact New Jersey investigation confirms that the Garden State had fewer private-sector jobs at the end of the decade than at the beginning, marking the first such loss in 72 years. But Oroho is wrong to blame that loss just on tax hikes.
