Until Monday, speculation surrounding whether or not Gov. Chris Christie will enter the race for presidency in 2012 was met with the same tune — no, sir.
But after former New Jersey Gov. Tom Kean Monday said Christie is giving the bid "a lot of thought," politicians and pundits across the country are singing the same song with new lyrics.
Maybe a new, Springsteen-loving big man is headed for candidacy? One thing is certain — whether Christie is born to run or not, he sure can belt out some Bruce. Christie showed off his chops at his inaugural gala on Jan. 19, 2010, backed by — you guessed it — a Springsteen tribute band.
The irony behind Christie's rendition of "Born to Run," and whether it will become a Jersey-centric campaign anthem is yet to be seen.
No matter the outcome, Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," had his own take on the Republican revolving door (Christie sings at 0:33 in below video).
