Ethics reform has also been on the governor's radar, for at least a year — despite Assemblyman John Wisniewski's recent claim that it's a "new agenda" that Christie just started promoting.
A PolitiFact New Jersey investigation has found that Christie began talking about ethics reform in September 2010, but the topic took a back seat as pension and health benefit reform became hot topics this past summer.
