Trump praised the job Christie has done and predicted that the governor won't make himself a candidate for president.
Trump recently met in New York with Texas Gov. Rick Perry, one of the leading GOP candidates, but stopped short of making an endorsement. Trump flirted with the idea of running for president earlier this year before deciding against it.
