Gov. Chris Christie announced today that he would not seek the presidency in 2012.
It should be no surprise — the man's been making that statement for at least the past year.
PolitiFact New Jersey found that Christie has run for higher elected office even after announcing that he wouldn't — from U.S. attorney to governor, for example — but that wasn't the case this time.
