Governor's numbers are correct, but his share of the credit is disputed
The number of private-sector jobs are up and the rate of unemployment is down in New Jersey, says Gov. Chris Christie.
Christie made the statement today during his announcement that he will not seek the presidency in 2012. And while Christie's numbers backing up those claims are true, the governor can't take all the credit for the results, a PolitiFact New Jersey investigation has found.
