TRENTON — The state has extended the filing deadlines for the Homestead and Senior Freeze property tax rebate programs for another week because of the weekend’s winter storm, State Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff announced today.
“Governor Christie has approved the new deadline for these property tax relief programs because of Saturday’s rare October snowstorm,” Sidamon-Eristoff said. “New Jerseyans who lost power or can’t travel safely will get the extra time they need to file.”
The old deadline was today.
