TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie will deliver the winter commencement address at his alma mater the University of Delaware in January, the university announced today.
"Gov. Christie's long record of public service and his abiding love of his alma mater make him an excellent person to speak to our newest graduates," Pete Hayward, vice president and university secretary said in a news release.
The commencement will be held on January 9 at the university's Bob Carpenter Center. Christie graduated from the university in 1984.
