It's taken more than a year, but New Jersey is finally implementing a medical marijuana program that was approved just before Gov. Chris Christie took office.

With six dispensaries or "alternative treatment centers" scheduled to distribute the drug, a monthly limit on quantity and a number of other regulations, state Sen. Nicholas Scutari said the state's program is the most restrictive in the country.

A number of experts generally agree with that assessment, according to the results of a PolitiFact New Jersey investigation that rates the senator's claim True.
