System does have problems, but not nearly as bad as former gubernatorial candidate claims
Much has been said about the future of the nation's Social Security system, but conservative activist Steve Lonegan says the situation is worse than some had believed. According to Lonegan, Social Security is "broke."
But a PolitiFact New Jersey investigation has found that while the system does have some funding problems in the distant future, it's not nearly as bad as Lonegan claims.
