The Olympic gold medalist and former Democratic candidate for state Senate claims Republican Sen. Diane Allen took health care away from her constituents
Nine-time Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis was removed in September from the ballot for state Senate in Tuesday's election, but he hasn't walked away from the political battles of Burlington County.
At a recent political rally in that area, Lewis, a Democrat, took aim at state Sen. Diane Allen (R-Burlington). Lewis claimed Allen is receiving taxpayer-funded health care, while also taking away health care from her constituents.
On that charge, Lewis comes up short, and receives a Mostly False from the Truth-O-Meter.
