It's the second meeting between Christie and the state's 15 lawmakers since the Republican took office in January.
Christie pledged to hold meetings quarterly to work more closely with the state's two Democratic senators and 13 congressmen on problems affecting New Jersey.
Creating jobs and promoting economic growth are expected to top the agenda.
Christie is also expected to push for an extension of bonus funding for Medicaid.
New Jersey's budget for the current fiscal year counts on hundreds of millions in additional Medicaid funds that Congress has so far not approved.
